Micron Level Tolerances - 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Milling with tolerances from millionth's to thousandth's of an inch. Speaking in metric, our best work was to achieve a tolerance of 0.5 micron (of course in a very special situation and frankly it is not normally possible even for us). Tolerances in the 3 to 10 microns range are easily achieved.
5 Axis - In 5 Axis machining, we can achieve an angular tolerance of two thousandth's of a degree (.002°). We are happy to take on prototype or production machining work.
Of course, we perform the "normal" CNC Machining work too - Our simpler 3 or 4 Axis CNC Precision Machine Work and CNC lathe work would have tolerances in the range of 20 to 100 micron (.0008" to .004").
Work Envelope Size - Our commitment to ultra precision work limits the size of our work envelope to a maximum of: X:80", Y:35", Z:18".
CNC Lathes/Turning Centers - For our CNC Lathe/Turning department, we generally work with diameters under 2" but our maximum capacity is 16".
CNC Swiss - For tight toleranced parts requiring high surface finish.
